Water mitigation file preparation.

Select the record groups you have. The tool creates a list of what to gather or clarify before an estimating assignment. It checks your answers, not the actual documents, and does not determine drying methods, safety, reimbursement or service acceptance.

Mitigation writing starts from field records; an insurer-written estimate or carrier baseline is not expected. Include a contractor estimate only when requesting its review. Missing records do not prevent an initial inquiry; they can affect the accepted scope and delivery target.

02 / Explore published fees

Xactimate estimating service fee calculator.

These are fees for SaguaroScope's estimating work, not construction prices, mitigation invoice values or insurance payments. Results illustrate the published schedule; the agreement and accepted order control scope, classification and price.

You request F9 Documentation Review. SaguaroScope assigns the documentation level after reviewing the complete file. Clients do not choose between Simple F9 Documentation and Advanced F9 Documentation.

SaguaroScope’s estimating team assigns Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation after reviewing the complete file. The client does not select the documentation level and cannot require the lower tier. The client may accept or decline the assigned service before work begins.

F9 notes are delivered with the estimate. The base estimate fee is billed separately at handoff before final release; approved periodic accounts follow their agreed terms. The separate F9 percentage fee or minimum follows your reported final claim outcome and our verification. No upfront F9 fee or estimate-fee credit applies.

Carrier Technical Coordination is available by written Service Order for eligible F9 Documentation assignments and SaguaroScope-written mitigation estimates. F9 Documentation and Carrier Technical Coordination are separately priced services. Your company reviews and approves every deliverable.

Estimate Only: estimate + sketch only, no F9 notes. Roof $179 / $214 / $249; interior $299 / $449 / $599. Simple F9 Documentation uses 10% / 8% / 5%, minimum $399; Advanced F9 Documentation uses 12% / 9% / 6%, minimum $499. Both use progressive brackets on attributable additional carrier-approved RCV only, with no estimate-fee credit. The base estimate is a separate fee at handoff, with F9 notes included in its line items. The team assigns the documentation level; the separate F9 fee follows the reported final outcome and verification. Approved periodic terms remain applicable. Water writing is $149 / $249 / $399; limited review $99. No writing deposit; the full fee is due at handoff before final release, unless approved periodic billing applies. Optional mitigation technical support uses the approved mitigation estimate amount fixed before first submission: 1%/$99 minimum for Technical Deployment and 2%/$149 minimum for substantive Backend Technical Support, each earned only when its work is completed. Understand the result

A few distinctions that matter.

Why can a small water job fall into a higher tier?

Every published ceiling applies. Two rooms with an eight-day documented span exceed Simple's five-day ceiling, so an otherwise eligible file falls into Standard. An individual dimension above Expanded requires a custom quote.

Does every calendar date become an equipment charge?

No. Calendar span helps classify estimating workload. Equipment charges require the actual records, applicable line-item basis and accepted scope. A deployment row is also different from a unit-day calculation.

Does the estimate fee reduce the later F9 fee?

No. The base estimating fee and later F9 fee are fully separate. Mitigation retains its distinct paid review-to-writing credit when the same-loss/scope and 14-day acceptance requirements are met.

Can I send an incomplete file?

You can send an initial inquiry with the records available. We identify missing information and confirm the accepted service and delivery target before production. Ongoing drying and incomplete records are not treated as a completed standard water file.
