Built for documented water mitigation work.
The standard service covers completed residential water mitigation files with a defined scope and organized records. Depending on the accepted job, that can include extraction, structural drying, protection, related selective demolition, debris handling and cleaning.
Commercial, Category 3, specialty drying, larger files and incomplete records require an individual scope review and written quote if accepted. Fire/smoke, mold, abatement, biohazard and contents services are outside this standard water offer. Reconstruction is priced separately.
We prepare estimates from contractor-supplied facts. We do not inspect the property, determine water category or class, design drying methods, certify safety or completion, or negotiate insurance claims.

All limits for a tier must fit. The lowest tier that fits every dimension applies to eligible, complete residential files. A deployment row is one documented equipment placement interval; movement or a changed interval creates another row. These are workload limits, not recommended drying times or allowances. Larger or specialty files receive a written quote if accepted.
Each writing order includes the accepted ESX/PDF, factual source notes, an exceptions list and one consolidated revision request within seven calendar days using the same scope and source facts. Our drafting or calculation errors are corrected without a correction charge. New facts or added work require an agreed change order.

Send one existing estimate with the matching records. We identify documentation, quantity, date and duplication questions in a review PDF or issue register. Up to 3 rooms/areas, 5 days, 15 deployment rows and 50 estimate lines; no rewritten ESX is included. Larger reviews are quoted separately.
The paid review fee is credited once toward water estimate writing for the same loss and substantially the same scope accepted within 14 calendar days of review delivery. See the credit rules.
What to send
- Project location, dates, company contact and whether field mitigation is complete.
- Defined room-by-room scope, measurements and an available sketch or ESX.
- Photos connected to the affected areas and documented work.
- Moisture/atmospheric records and equipment placement, movement and removal records.
- Relevant invoices, existing estimates and applicable client instructions.
Send what you have for the initial fit check. Identify missing items honestly; we confirm what is needed before accepting production. A carrier estimate is not required for writing from your documented scope.

Prepare. We write and check the estimate against the supplied records, separating supported facts from unresolved questions.
Review. Your team checks the draft, pays the confirmed balance and receives the final deliverables for its own approval and submission.
Questions contractors ask
Is the fee a percentage of my mitigation invoice?
No. The water-writing fee is based on the accepted file workload. It does not increase because the estimate total or carrier payment increases.
Can I send a file without a carrier estimate?
Yes. For writing, we need your documented scope, measurements and relevant field records. An existing estimate is needed for the review-only option.
What if drying is still in progress?
You can request an initial fit check. Standard writing tiers are for completed field records. Any preliminary estimate or later finalization must be separately scoped and priced; we do not treat an unfinished drying record as final.
Are F9 notes included?
Water writing includes concise notes connecting relevant quantities, dates or unusual operations to the supplied file evidence. A standards research report, technical rebuttal, embedded photo report or carrier response is a separate scope. Estimate Only roof/interior work has its own inclusions: an estimate and corresponding sketch, with no F9 notes.
Will you contact the carrier or negotiate the invoice?
No. Your company controls all carrier and homeowner communication and every submission. We do not determine coverage or guarantee approval or payment.
Can you write mitigation and repairs for the same property?
We can review both scopes for fit. They are classified and priced separately, with an overlap check so the same operation is not counted twice.
How quickly will I receive it?
We confirm a delivery target after checking file completeness and current capacity. Any accepted rush service is priced separately before work begins.
