Missing work in an existing estimate
Identify the disputed operation and its supporting field records. F9 Documentation is a separately accepted add-on to roofing or reconstruction writing; it is not included in Estimate Only.
Documented mitigation work
Drying logs, equipment intervals and moisture records require the water mitigation estimate-writing service, with its separate scope and pricing.

What should you compare when hiring Xactimate estimate writers?
A useful estimate-writing quote tells you what the writer will prepare, what your team must provide and what happens when the scope changes. Compare those details together. A low starting price, a long list of possible repairs or a large estimated total does not tell you whether the assignment fits your project.

F9 Documentation is an add-on to the roofing or reconstruction estimate. Accepted notes are written into the relevant Xactimate line items and delivered with the estimate. SaguaroScope assigns the Simple or Advanced documentation level after reviewing the complete file; you accept the terms before work begins.
Standard accounts pay the base estimate fee at handoff before final release. The later F9 progressive fee or applicable minimum is billed separately after you report the final carrier settlement or approval and we verify it. No estimate-fee credit, upfront F9 deposit or handoff F9 minimum applies. Approved periodic accounts follow their agreed schedule.
Technical coordination is a separately authorized service for eligible F9 assignments or SaguaroScope-written mitigation estimates. Your company approves the package before any authorized transmission.

This is a preparation aid, not an order form, required list of repairs or authorization to begin work. Water mitigation needs its own field records and separate estimating service; use the applicable drying and equipment documentation rather than treating this repair-scope template as a complete water file.
Separate what was measured from what should be repaired.
For example, a measured wall opening and the area needing paint may be different quantities. Record each operation separately, identify its measurement source, and flag any finish or access question your field team has not resolved. Do not reuse one number across every line simply because the work occurs in the same room.

Check the project identity and version first. Then follow an area from the source records to the sketch and estimate. Confirm that the operation, material, quantity and unit describe the repair your team intended. Keep unanswered field questions visible rather than treating them as completed verification.
The PDF is the readable review copy. The ESX is the editable Xactimate project. For roofing and reconstruction Estimate Only, the corresponding sketch represents the supplied measurements. Receiving those files does not establish hidden conditions or add documentation services that were not ordered.
Send feedback as a clear list tied to rooms or estimate lines. Distinguish a drafting correction from newly discovered damage, revised measurements or additional work so the next step can follow the accepted revision terms. Your company verifies the field facts and approves the finished file.

Can I send my scope and get an estimate and sketch back?
Yes. SaguaroScope Estimate Only includes a project-specific Xactimate estimate and corresponding sketch built from the accepted contractor-defined scope and adequate measurements. Writing deliverables include editable ESX and a review PDF. We confirm the inputs and price before production.
What measurements do you need for the sketch?
Provide room or roof dimensions, area labels and relevant geometry, with photos and material details tied to the scope. An available sketch, diagram or measurement report can support the file. Missing dimensions are questions for the contractor, not facts inferred from a photograph.
Can I outsource just one Xactimate estimate?
Yes. Send one appropriate file for fit and completeness review. We confirm scope, price, required records and delivery before accepting production. Sending an inquiry does not authorize work or a charge.
Do I need an insurance company estimate first?
No. A sufficiently defined contractor repair scope and supporting measurements can be estimated without a carrier estimate. Comparison work and percentage-based F9 documentation require their relevant baseline and compensation basis; water mitigation writing uses field records without an insurer-written estimate.
Does the estimate-and-sketch service include F9 notes?
Estimate Only includes no F9 notes. F9 Documentation can be added to eligible roofing or reconstruction work and delivered in the estimate. The base estimate fee and later F9 percentage/minimum fee are fully separate, with no estimate-fee credit.
How are price and turnaround confirmed?
We review your scope, records and our current workload, then confirm the price and delivery date. Missing measurements or added work can change the schedule. Your accepted order sets payment, revisions and deliverables.
Who approves and submits the finished estimate?
The contractor verifies field facts and approves the final estimate. SaguaroScope does not determine coverage, represent the insured, negotiate settlements or guarantee approval. Separately authorized technical coordination may transmit and explain the client-approved package; the contractor retains control of submission and homeowner communication.
