The right assignment
A defined scope. A usable Xactimate file.
Estimate Only: Estimate + Sketch Only. No F9 Notes. For contractors who already know the scope they want estimated. We prepare one project-specific estimate with correctly sourced and identified line items and one corresponding sketch. A carrier estimate is optional when your repair scope is defined.
Roofing estimates
Provide roof measurements, material and system details, photos, and the operations you want included. Identify access conditions and connected work so the estimate reflects your scope.
Interior & reconstruction
Provide room dimensions, affected materials, quantities, finish details and the repair sequence. Separate rooms and trades clearly enough to support the requested line items.
Water mitigation
Water estimate writing uses a separate service schedule. Include documented work, job status, drying logs and equipment records when available.

Estimate Only includes an estimate and corresponding sketch only. F9 notes, code arguments, manufacturer documentation, advanced technical positions, embedded claim photographs or photo reports, supplement arguments, carrier submission, carrier correspondence, adjuster negotiation and Carrier Technical Coordination are excluded. Water payment, revision and review-credit rules remain separate.

You request F9 Documentation Review. SaguaroScope assigns the documentation level after reviewing the complete file. Clients do not choose between Simple F9 Documentation and Advanced F9 Documentation.
SaguaroScope’s estimating team assigns Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation after reviewing the complete file. The client does not select the documentation level and cannot require the lower tier. The client may accept or decline the assigned service before work begins.
The entire F9 Documentation fee, including the applicable minimum, is billed after approval. No F9 deposit or handoff minimum is billed before approval.
Carrier Technical Coordination may be available by written Service Order with Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation. F9 Documentation and Carrier Technical Coordination are separately priced services. Your company reviews and approves every deliverable.

- Measurements, room or roof diagrams, and quantities.
- Photos tied to the affected area, material or operation.
- Any existing estimate and relevant product or project documents.
- For water files, job status, drying logs and equipment records when available.
Your team's handoff
Review, approve, then submit.
- Confirm the assignment. We check fit and identify missing information before accepting production.
- Agree on scope and price. The accepted order defines deliverables, documentation, revisions and timing.
- Prepare the estimate. The project file organizes the contractor-defined scope for your team's review.
- Keep control. Your company verifies field facts, reviews and approves the file, and controls homeowner communication. Any Carrier Technical Coordination must be authorized by written Service Order and use client-approved technical materials.

Can I outsource just one Xactimate estimate?
Start with one file. Send your defined scope and available records so we can confirm fit, requirements and pricing. Sending an inquiry does not commit either party to production.
Do I need an insurance company estimate first?
No. Estimate Only can begin from your defined repair scope. If the assignment involves Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation, the written carrier baseline and compensation basis must be established before the accepted percentage-based documentation work begins.
Does Estimate Only include completed F9 notes?
No. Estimate Only is an estimate and corresponding sketch only, with no F9 notes. Request F9 Documentation Review if the file needs technical supporting documentation. SaguaroScope’s estimating team assigns Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation after reviewing the complete file. The client does not select the documentation level and cannot require the lower tier. The client may accept or decline the assigned service before work begins. The entire F9 Documentation fee, including the applicable minimum, is billed after approval. No F9 deposit or handoff minimum is billed before approval.
Is water mitigation priced the same as reconstruction?
No. Water mitigation has its separate fixed-fee writing and review schedule. A file with mitigation and reconstruction may contain distinct scopes. We confirm how each will be handled before accepting work.
How quickly will my estimate be ready?
The delivery target is confirmed after reviewing the scope, completeness of the records and accepted assignment. Missing information or changes to the scope can affect that target.
Will SaguaroScope submit or negotiate my claim?
Claim Handling is unavailable. SaguaroScope does not negotiate settlements or interpret policy coverage. Your company retains claim strategy, homeowner communication, coverage and settlement decisions, and approval of every submission. Carrier Technical Coordination may be available by written Service Order with Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation. At the client’s direction, SaguaroScope may transmit and technically explain client-approved estimates and supporting construction documentation, defend its technical estimate, correct factual scope deficiencies, respond to factual carrier-scope questions, and provide reasonable backend technical support concerning the accepted repair scope. SaguaroScope does not accept or reject carrier payments, bind the contractor or insured, interpret policy coverage, or make settlement decisions. Carrier approval is not guaranteed.
