Interior and reconstruction estimating

Room by room.
A clearer repair estimate.

Turn your defined interior repair scope, room dimensions, affected materials and project records into a project-specific Xactimate estimate and sketch. If supported disputed work needs technical documentation, request F9 Documentation Review.

Interior Estimate Only from $299. Estimate + Sketch Only — No F9 Notes.

A defined service

Keep the repair scope clear, room by room.

Defined interior scope

Identify room dimensions, affected materials, quantities, finishes and repair sequence. Separate the work by room and trade so the estimate reflects the contractor-defined scope.

Supported repair operations

Protection, detach and reset, demolition, substrate preparation, assembly layers, transitions and trade sequence may need attention. Include an operation only when project records and the actual line-item inclusions support it.

Separate from field mitigation

Interior/reconstruction estimating documents the accepted repair scope. Water mitigation writing and review keep their separate prices and terms. Where scopes overlap, reconcile completed operations so the same work is not counted twice.

Estimating and documentation services. SaguaroScope does not perform the field repair or act as a public adjuster.

Interior Estimate Only

A fixed fee for a defined estimate.

Estimate + Sketch Only — No F9 Notes

Simple Estimate Only

$299

Generally a limited interior scope with standard materials and minimal specialty detailing.

Workload guidelines

Generally up to 2 rooms or distinct affected areas, 3 trades, 2 floors, 2 finish/material types, 1 cabinet or built-in area, 2 ceiling types/heights, 5 doors or windows requiring estimating and 1 specialty system. Typical work includes standard drywall, paint, flooring, basic demolition/replacement, baseboard, common flooring, limited transitions/cabinetry and minimal specialty detailing.

Moderate Estimate Only

$449

More rooms, coordinated trades, finish transitions or cabinet and fixture work.

Workload guidelines

Generally up to 7 rooms or distinct affected areas, 5 trades, 3 floors, 4 finish/material types, 2 cabinet or built-in areas, 4 ceiling types/heights, 8 doors or windows and 2 specialty systems. Typical work includes drywall, paint, flooring, finish carpentry, cabinets, electrical/plumbing, multiple flooring transitions, partial cabinet replacement, countertops, tile, millwork, multiple ceiling elevations, moderate contents manipulation and plumbing/electrical fixture work.

Complex Estimate Only

$599

Extensive, specialty or highly coordinated interior reconstruction work.

Workload guidelines

May apply when any Moderate guideline is exceeded. Indicators include full-home reconstruction, extensive kitchens/bathrooms, custom cabinetry or millwork, structural framing, major electrical/plumbing, HVAC, fire-suppression systems, commercial kitchens, elevator areas, large-scale contents manipulation, extensive tile/stone, specialty wall coverings, historic or high-end finishes, acoustic systems, large commercial spaces, multiple tenants, industrial interiors, healthcare, hotels, schools, data centers, malls and high-rises.

Simple, Moderate and Complex describe estimating workload only. These are guidelines, not automatic entitlements or formulas. SaguaroScope confirms the classification after reviewing the complete assignment, documentation quality, estimating time, coordination, trades, specialty conditions and overall effort.

Combined or Other projects receive a reviewed scope and written quote. No combined price is inferred by adding table entries. Commercial, industrial, specialty and unusually coordinated assignments require review.

Estimate Only includes one project-specific estimate with correctly sourced and identified line items and one corresponding sketch. F9 notes, code arguments, manufacturer documentation, advanced technical positions, embedded claim photographs or photo reports, supplement arguments, carrier submission, carrier correspondence, adjuster negotiation and Carrier Technical Coordination are excluded.

A separate reviewed service

When disputed scope needs technical support.

You request F9 Documentation Review. SaguaroScope assigns Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation after reviewing the complete file. Clients do not choose the documentation level. You may accept or decline the assigned scope and terms before work begins.

Simple F9 Documentation

Targeted support may address limited flooring, cabinet or finish continuity, noncompliant plumbing, smoke detectors, fire blocking, insulation R-values and limited missing line items where most principal repair scope is generally already approved.

Attributable additional carrier-approved RCV
Progressive bracketRate
First $25,00010%
Next $25,0008%
Above $50,0005%

$399 minimum total documentation fee

Advanced F9 Documentation

Broader support may address omitted rooms or repair operations, major kitchens or bathrooms, fire or whole-house damage, structural damage, major framing/electrical/plumbing issues, and extensive continuity or sequencing needs. These are documentation examples, not automatic inclusions or field-service offers.

Attributable additional carrier-approved RCV
Progressive bracketRate
First $25,00012%
Next $25,0009%
Above $50,0006%

$499 minimum total documentation fee

The entire F9 Documentation fee, including the applicable minimum, is billed after carrier approval. No F9 deposit or handoff minimum is billed before approval.

RCV means replacement cost value. Percentage fees use only the additional carrier-approved RCV supported through SaguaroScope’s work. The original carrier estimate is excluded. The brackets are progressive: each later rate applies only to dollars within that bracket.

How is the carrier baseline established?

Baseline Carrier RCV is the carrier’s most recent written replacement-cost amount for the same claim and substantially the same scope immediately before SaguaroScope begins percentage-based documentation work. The final approved RCV minus the baseline is the potential additional RCV, never below zero; fees use only the supported increase attributable to SaguaroScope’s work. The original estimate, deductible, previously approved scope and unrelated increases are excluded.

How is the documentation level assigned?

Assignment considers the approved scope; breadth and significance of omitted slopes, rooms, systems and finishes; disputed trades; technical complexity; code and manufacturer support; documentation quality; and the work required. Claim dollars alone do not determine the level, and no fixed percentage-of-scope cutoff applies.

Can a paid Estimate Only fee be credited?

For the same claim and substantially the same scope, one eligible completed Estimate Only fee already paid is credited dollar-for-dollar toward the total assigned F9 Documentation fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Apply the minimum first. Credit cannot exceed the documentation fee, has no cash value and is not separately refundable. The completed estimate and sketch fee remains earned and is not refundable based on carrier approval, job award, collection or performance.

Carrier Technical Coordination

Carrier Technical Coordination may be available by written Service Order with Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation. At the client’s direction, SaguaroScope may transmit and technically explain client-approved estimates and supporting construction documentation, defend its technical estimate, correct factual scope deficiencies, respond to factual carrier-scope questions, and provide reasonable backend technical support concerning the accepted repair scope.

Written Service OrderClient-approved materialsSeparate pricing

SaguaroScope does not accept or reject carrier payments, bind the contractor or insured, interpret policy coverage, or make settlement decisions.

01

Technical Deployment

Billed when SaguaroScope transmits the approved technical package and establishes the submission record.

02

Backend Technical Support

Applies only when SaguaroScope completes a substantive backend technical response.

Detailed project pricing is stated in the written Service Order. F9 Documentation and Carrier Technical Coordination are separately priced services.

Once the Backend Technical Support phase is earned, reasonable later technical-response rounds concerning the same accepted repair scope are included at no additional charge. Materially expanded project scope may require a written change order.

Your file checklist

What to send

  1. Project location, company contact, job status and the room-by-room repair scope you want estimated.
  2. Room dimensions, measured quantities, diagrams, and any available sketch or ESX.
  3. Affected materials, finishes, repair sequence and the trades involved in each area.
  4. Photos connected to the affected rooms and documented work, including records of any completed mitigation operations.
  5. The current carrier estimate if one exists, your identified omissions or disputes, and relevant invoices or project instructions.
A carrier estimate is not required for Estimate Only when your interior scope is defined. F9 work requires the written carrier baseline and compensation basis to be established before percentage-based documentation begins.

The next steps

From your records
to your review

  1. Send

Provide the project records and identify whether you need Estimate Only or F9 Documentation Review. An inquiry does not authorize work or a charge.

  2. Review fit

We review the complete assignment, identify missing information and confirm the workload classification or documentation level.

  3. Accept the order

Review the proposed service, deliverables, fee, required inputs, revisions and delivery target. Work begins after acceptance of the applicable terms.

  4. Review your file

Your company verifies the field facts and reviews the deliverables included in the accepted order. You retain approval of the final technical materials and all coverage, settlement and payment-acceptance decisions.

Questions contractors ask

Do I need an existing carrier estimate?

Not for Estimate Only when you can define the interior repair scope and provide measurements and project records. If the assignment is Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation, the written carrier baseline and compensation basis must be established before the percentage-based documentation work begins.

Does Estimate Only include F9 notes?

No. Estimate Only includes an estimate and corresponding sketch, with no F9 notes. Request F9 Documentation Review if the file needs technical supporting documentation. SaguaroScope assigns the documentation level after reviewing the complete file; you may accept or decline before work begins.

Can I choose Simple or Advanced F9 Documentation?

You request F9 Documentation Review rather than selecting a level. SaguaroScope reviews the approved scope, missing work, technical support and documentation quality before assigning Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation. Claim dollars alone do not determine the assignment.

When will the file be delivered?

We confirm the service, price, required inputs and delivery target before production. Timing depends on accepted scope, record completeness, capacity and the specific assignment. Missing information or changes to scope can affect that target. The accepted order defines revisions and delivery terms.

Will SaguaroScope submit or negotiate my claim?

Claim Handling is unavailable. SaguaroScope does not negotiate settlements or interpret policy coverage. Your company retains claim strategy, homeowner communication, coverage and settlement decisions, and approval of every submission. Separately authorized Carrier Technical Coordination with Simple F9 Documentation or Advanced F9 Documentation may include transmission and technical explanation of client-approved materials within the written Service Order. SaguaroScope does not accept or reject carrier payments or bind the contractor or insured. Carrier approval is not guaranteed.

Does the interior price include water mitigation or roofing?

No. These are Interior Estimate Only workload prices. Water mitigation has its own writing and review schedule. A combined roof/interior or Other assignment receives a reviewed scope and written quote. Separate scopes are checked for overlap; do not count the same operation twice.

Start with the scope.
We’ll confirm the next step.

Send the project details and available records. We confirm fit, service, price, required inputs and a delivery target before production. The accepted order controls deliverables, revisions and payment terms.
