Roofing and reconstruction: writing, with F9 when needed

An existing estimate is an input to the assignment. If your contractor-defined scope is ready to be written, Estimate Only prepares the accepted estimate and corresponding sketch. If the file needs supported explanations within the estimate, F9 Documentation is an add-on to the estimate SaguaroScope writes.

Your requested outcome guides the choice. SaguaroScope checks the file and assigns the appropriate service and, when F9 is included, the Simple or Advanced documentation level. The existing educational review guides can help you describe a concern, but they do not create a separate roofing or reconstruction review product.

Mitigation: limited review or writing

The published $99 Limited Estimate Review checks an eligible existing contractor mitigation estimate. It returns a marked PDF or issue register with a writing recommendation; it does not include a rewritten ESX. The published limits are one contractor estimate, up to three rooms, five calendar days, fifteen deployment rows and fifty estimate lines. Larger mitigation reviews require a confirmed quote.

Mitigation writing prepares an estimate from the contractor’s field records. An insurer-written estimate is not expected for either mitigation route. Standard accounts pay the limited review fee before staff begins; the writing fee is due at handoff before final ESX/PDF release. Approved periodic accounts follow their agreed billing and release terms.

Optional mitigation technical coordination is available only for SaguaroScope-written estimates. A review-only file can upgrade to writing before that service is considered.

Send the current file and the result you need

Provide the latest readable estimate PDF and native ESX if available. Identify the author, date and version, then explain what you want the next deliverable to accomplish. A PDF can support the initial fit check; preparing an editable replacement without the original ESX may require additional work within the accepted writing scope.

• A short list of concerns tied to estimate pages or lines and the supporting records. Missing dimensions or concealed conditions still require contractor confirmation.
• For mitigation, drying records, equipment logs, moisture mapping and completed-work dates.
• For a carrier-baseline comparison, the latest written carrier estimate and records for substantially the same loss and scope.

Know what you will receive and pay for

The initial fit check identifies the service and missing information; it is not a completed technical audit. The PSO or applicable standing annual agreement establishes the accepted work and pricing. Staff also confirms the required records and delivery target before production.

Writing deliverables follow the accepted service: the estimate, corresponding sketch and included ESX/PDF files. F9 assignments include the agreed line-item notes in that written estimate. The limited mitigation review has its separate marked-PDF or issue-register output.

For roofing and reconstruction with F9, the base estimate fee and later F9 fee are fully separate. Standard accounts pay the base estimate fee at handoff before final release, with the F9 notes included. The separate F9 percentage fee or minimum follows the reported final claim outcome and verification; the estimate payment is not a credit toward F9. Approved periodic terms remain applicable.

SaguaroScope works remotely from the accepted assignment and supplied records, subject to service-area availability and file fit. Your company verifies field conditions, resolves open questions and approves the finished technical work. Keep original and revised versions identifiable so your team can see what changed.

Your company controls submissions and homeowner communication. Separately authorized Carrier Technical Coordination may include transmitting and explaining client-approved technical materials at your direction. It does not authorize coverage interpretation, insured representation, claim negotiation, settlement decisions or a guarantee of approval.
