At SaguaroScope, roofing Estimate Only starts at $179, reconstruction at $299 and water mitigation writing at $149. We confirm the workload and fee after reviewing your file. F9 documentation and technical coordination are separate services. Compare the complete assignment—not just its starting price—to understand what you will receive and when you will pay.

Start with the service you need
These are SaguaroScope’s published fees, not an industry-wide price range. The Pricing page contains the full eligibility criteria and terms; the accepted order or applicable annual agreement establishes your assignment.

Roofing and reconstruction Estimate Only includes the estimate and corresponding sketch, with no F9 notes. Classifications reflect the work required, including geometry, trades, specialty conditions and documentation. A small project does not automatically qualify as Simple. Every mitigation tier limit must fit; specialty, larger or incomplete files need individual review and a quote if accepted. Limited review does not include an ESX rewrite.
F9 is a separate fee, with a separate milestone
Accepted F9 notes are written into the relevant line items and delivered with your estimate. Standard accounts pay the base estimate fee at handoff before final ESX/PDF release. The separate F9 fee follows your reported final carrier settlement or approval and SaguaroScope’s verification.
F9 uses the attributable additional carrier-approved replacement cost value above the agreed written baseline. The original baseline and unrelated increases are excluded. Staff assigns Simple or Advanced after file review; the client does not choose the lower level.

Each rate applies only to its bracket. The F9 charge is the larger of the calculated fee or applicable minimum. There is no estimate-fee credit, upfront F9 deposit or F9 handoff minimum. For example, a $249 base estimate and a later $499 Advanced F9 minimum total $748; they are billed at their respective milestones.
Keep mitigation and technical support separate
Mitigation writing starts with your field records; an insurer-written estimate is not expected. Standard writing has no deposit and is paid at handoff before final ESX/PDF release. The $99 limited contractor-estimate review is paid before staff begins. Approved periodic accounts follow their agreed billing and release terms.
Optional mitigation technical support is available only for estimates SaguaroScope writes. Technical Deployment is 1% with a $99 minimum; a completed substantive backend technical response is 2% with a $149 minimum. Both use the client-approved mitigation estimate amount fixed before first submission. These are separate work-based phases, not settlement-contingent charges.
Roofing and reconstruction technical coordination is available for eligible F9 assignments, with its separate price in the written Service Order. Selecting Estimate Only does not include carrier correspondence or technical support.
Compare the same assignment in every quote
- Deliverables: identify the estimate, sketch, editable ESX, PDF and documentation included in the price.
- Fee basis: a fixed quote covers a defined assignment; hourly work needs an agreed rate and limit; a percentage needs a clear basis, exclusions and minimum.
- Input gaps: determine whether missing measurements, a new sketch, unreadable records or added scope require separate work.
- Revisions and timing: confirm what is included, how new information changes the order and whether a requested deadline is accepted.
- Release and extras: check the payment milestone, separately approved expenses and any itemized tax. A headline rate is not a complete order.
SaguaroScope confirms the work before production under the PSO or applicable standing annual terms. Annual authorization and periodic billing are separate settings; an annual agreement does not automatically create a discount or a different release schedule.
Questions contractors ask
What is the lowest published estimate-writing fee?
SaguaroScope’s eligible Simple mitigation writing starts at $149, Simple roofing Estimate Only at $179 and Simple reconstruction Estimate Only at $299. Staff confirms whether the file fits the service and workload; the starting fee is not a quote for every project.
Does the estimate fee include F9 notes?
Estimate Only has no F9 notes. When F9 is accepted as an add-on, the notes accompany the written estimate, but the base estimate fee and later F9 percentage or minimum fee remain fully separate.
Do you charge a percentage of the whole insurance claim?
F9 percentages apply only to additional approved RCV attributable to SaguaroScope’s work above the agreed written baseline. They do not apply to the original estimate or unrelated increases. Mitigation writing uses its separate fixed fees.
Can I apply a review payment to estimate writing?
The paid $99 limited mitigation review fee can be credited once toward writing for the same loss and substantially the same scope when accepted within 14 calendar days of review delivery. That specific mitigation credit does not create an estimate-fee credit toward F9.
Can I receive the finished files before paying?
Standard writing accounts pay at handoff before final ESX/PDF release. Approved periodic-billing accounts receive files and invoices under their agreed terms. An annual agreement alone does not change the billing or release route.
Is carrier technical support included?
No. Carrier Technical Coordination requires separate authorization and pricing. It covers accepted client-approved technical work; SaguaroScope does not determine coverage, represent the insured, negotiate settlements or guarantee approval.
