When will your estimate be ready?
SaguaroScope confirms a delivery target after reviewing your scope, records and the capacity needed for the assignment. There is no universal turnaround that fits every roofing, reconstruction or mitigation file. A complete, defined scope is easier to schedule than a folder with unresolved measurements or conflicting records. Tell us your deadline at intake so we can confirm whether it is achievable before production.

The delivery target starts with a ready assignment
- Send the project records and the outcome you need, along with any actual deadline.
- We review fit, scope, missing information and current capacity, then confirm the service and delivery target.
- Production proceeds when the required records are accepted and the required agreements or applicable standing annual authorization are complete.
- We prepare and check the accepted work. Your company resolves field questions and reviews the resulting estimate.
A request received today is not automatically an assignment ready for production today. The useful date is the confirmed target for the accepted work, with any needed client decisions or records identified.
What can change the amount of work?

For mitigation, dates and equipment intervals must reconcile with the field records. For reconstruction, multiple trades and assembly details can require additional coordination. F9 work may need more research and source review than Estimate Only. A claim’s dollar value alone does not establish the preparation time.
Help the file move without guessing
- Name one person who can answer field and scope questions and approve the final work.
- Identify the current scope and estimate version. Mark old versions clearly.
- Supply measurements and connect photos or logs to the relevant room, roof area or equipment interval.
- State what is unknown. Do not invent a dimension or date to make the file look complete.
- Consolidate corrections into one clear list, and identify any change to the originally accepted scope.
You can start an inquiry with the information available. Staff identifies what is still needed and whether it affects acceptance or the delivery target. Standard mitigation writing covers completed records; a preliminary estimate and later finalization need their own accepted scope and quote.
Finished work and final release are different milestones
For standard writing accounts, the base estimate fee is paid at handoff before final ESX/PDF release. Approved periodic-billing clients receive finished files when ready under their agreed terms. Allow for your company’s review and payment process when planning to use the estimate.
When F9 is included, the accepted notes are already in the delivered estimate. The later F9 billing milestone does not delay those notes until the claim outcome. Annual standing authorization and periodic billing are separate account settings; neither automatically creates a rush slot.
An estimate delivery date is also separate from carrier review. Your company approves the scope and controls submission; separately authorized technical coordination may handle the client-approved package. SaguaroScope cannot promise the insurer’s response time or approval.
If the deadline is urgent
Give us the actual deadline, why it matters and the records ready now. We confirm whether the assignment and timing can be accepted. Uploading a file or paying a fee does not create an unconfirmed delivery promise.
Published mitigation rush writing, when capacity permits and it is accepted, adds 35% of the writing fee rounded up to a whole dollar, with a $99 minimum. The delivery target is confirmed in the order; this does not guarantee next-day completion. Roofing and reconstruction timing must be confirmed for the specific assignment.
Questions contractors ask
Can you promise a 24-hour Xactimate estimate?
There is no universal 24-hour promise. SaguaroScope reviews scope, records and capacity before confirming the target for a particular assignment. Ask about your actual deadline rather than assuming a turnaround from the file size or claim value.
Does the turnaround start as soon as I upload?
Upload begins the intake process. Production depends on accepted scope, adequate records and the required agreements or applicable standing annual authorization. Staff confirms the delivery target for the assignment rather than treating every upload as production-ready.
Can I send a file before every record is available?
Yes, for the initial fit and completeness review. Identify what is missing. Staff determines which records or decisions are needed before production and how they affect the target; missing field facts are not filled in by assumption.
Does an annual agreement make my files faster?
It can remove individual PSO signing for covered work, but staff still checks the file and capacity. Annual authorization does not by itself promise priority service, a shorter delivery target or different payment and release terms.
Will the F9 notes come later than the estimate?
No. Accepted F9 notes accompany the delivered estimate. The separate later F9 percentage or minimum billing milestone follows the reported final carrier outcome and verification; it is not the delivery date for the notes.
What happens if I add scope after work starts?
Identify the changed facts or additional work. SaguaroScope reviews their effect on the accepted scope, price and delivery target before further billable work. Do not assume the original date covers an expanded assignment.
